McDonald's is celebrating National Cheeseburger Day in a big way.
In honor of the holiday, customers of the fast food chain can purchase Double Cheeseburgers through the McDonald’s App at $0.50 on Thursday, Sept. 18.
The deal is an exclusive app offer, and only one burger purchase is allowed per customer. Local deals and offers will vary, as McDonald’s franchisees are independent business owners who set their own pricing.
The announcement comes days after Extra Value Meals returned to McDonald's on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
According to a press release, for a limited time, the Sausage McMuffin with Egg meal – which comes with Hash Browns and a small coffee – is being offered at $5, and the Big Mac meal, which includes medium fries and a choice of medium soft drink, is being offered at $8.
